This past Saturday, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to carve pumpkins and cook out with the cousins. Cooper enjoyed himself playing with the girls and watching everyone cut up the pumpkins!
We capped off the trip with a wonderful party and ceremony at Alyssa's house to name Chaya. Everyone had a great time..especially the kids. There was a pirate show, face painting and balloon animals. It was great!
After we went to Monkey Jungle, we headed back to Auntie Yvette's house for a dip in the pool. Cooper wasn't a big fan, instead opting to watch from behind the fence. Afterwards, we had a fantastic BBQ.
We headed off to Monkey Jungle on Saturday. It's the great place where the monkeys run around and you can feed them through these little cups that they pull up to the cages. Cooper loved it, but I think he enjoyed hanging out with his cousins even more!
We had a fabulous whirlwind weekend! We headed off the Florida on Friday night...made a brief stop in Atlanta...and then headed home on Sunday. Coop was so excited to see everyone. I'll be posting pictures over the next few days of all the exciting events. Here are some from our quick visit to Atlanta to see Coop's Grandpa and Grammy. Cooper had so much fun running around the airport with them. He especially loved riding the escalator with Grandpa!
We took Coop to the pumpkin farm over the weekend to pick out his Halloween pumpking. He was so excited. He ran around the patch, checking them all before finally picking one that's almost as big as him! We also picked tons of apples..so many they tipped the stroller over with Cooper in it!
I can't believe it..18 months old today! Cooper is growing up so fast! He's talking up a storm, loves to sing (right now he's doing a rendition of Don't Worry, Be Happy), and is just very, very silly. He's always giggling about something.
We took Coop to Brookfield Zoo this weekend and had a great time. He loved checking out the "aminals" especially the monkeys. He also loved showing off his animal noises (he's roaring like a lion in the last picture). It was a wonderful day!
